Before

The aircrew management needs to promptly notify individual groups of employees of all changes and news related to their aircraft or flight. The distribution administrator manually prepared a list of employees and sent each employee a separate notification using the flight management system.

If employees had questions or needed to respond to a notification, they additionally used third-party messengers (like WhatsApp).

According to flight regulations, some notifications require confirmation from crew members that they have received the information. To obtain confirmation, the administrator contacted crew members directly through third-party messengers or by phone.

Therefore, it caused the following difficulties:

A lot of time was spent on creating and managing the distribution lists.
Employees didn’t have the opportunity to respond to the notification in the same application.
It was impossible to track whether an employee had read the notification and when.
Distribution statistics and employee activity analytics were done manually.

Employee database collected from the HR system and flight management system.
Manual or filtered group distribution creation (by flight, aircraft type, position, etc.).

After

The ability to send notifications of different types (with or without the ability to reply).
The ability to view which employees did not receive or read the notification and re-distribute only to them.
Simplified regulatory reporting due to saving distribution history and statistics.
